Oh all women I have seen oh women of the sea of your generosity come to the wheat field and clean my bones well those bones that resemble a bouquet of reed flowers then carry them in the violin box and return with it. ** No one can know the reasons behind a person's suicide, despite the theories that talk about this phenomenon, and the mystery becomes more intense when it relates to a poet like "Khay Zi" who ended his life while at the height of his poetic brilliance. And although insight sometimes precedes sight, "Khay Zi," who threw himself in front of a train at the age of 25 .. had written about eight ways to commit suicide in one of his poems, and said in a short discovery letter after his death: "My name is Chia Khai Shing, I work as a teacher at the University of China for Politics and Law, my death is not asked about." So was the latent energy in his poetry responsible for pushing him to end his life? No one can give a definitive answer either, and what remains is the poetry of "Khay Zi" which we present here as a selection in a second, expanded, and revised edition.
